Mark provides gas safety advice including what to do in an emergency situation.
One in six Plymouth homes has a dangerous gas appliance. You can Check your postcode on the official Gas Safe register website.
Key benefits
Gas appliances degrade over time, exposing you to the risk of gas leaks, house fires and carbon monoxide poisoning.
Homeowners
A gas safety check is much like a vehicle MOT but for the gas installation of a property. Our Gas Safe engineer Mark completes a series of checks to ensure your gas appliances are safe to use, Mark records his findings on a CP12 report.
Property buyers
Buying a property with an unsafe gas installation can lead to expensive remedial works. You can avoid this by employing Gas Trademark to complete a gas safety check before you exchange ownership.
Landlords
Rentals are probably the safest gas installations in the UK, this is because UK law requires landlords to have them checked annually. Ensure safe occupancy for your tenants with a gas safety check by Gas Trademark.
If you smell gas,

a gas appliance,
chimney or flue.
Payment terms
All payments are processed by Mark using a secure and portable card machine by NatWest Bank, we also accept cash payments too.
Pay the total amount before Mark leaves the property at the end of the job. Your CP12 gas safety certificate will be emailed to you on receipt of payment.
CP12 exclusions
Gas Safe registered engineers are required to follow the Gas Industry's Unsafe Situation Procedures (GIUSP) whenever we identify a dangerous gas installation. The GIUSP are specific safety tasks we must follow in order to protect people and property until any remedial works are completed to make the gas installation safe to use. The GIUSP requires extra works not included in our gas safety check service, so whenever we identify a dangerous gas installation, we explain why it's dangerous, discuss your options with you and charge an additional £30 to complete the GIUSP.
